If like me you are a working mother struggling to juggle full time work, children and get a healthy lifestyle to get your weight in check, you may be interested in following my blog, as this is my story to losing weight and getting fit and healthy in 2017.

I am 44 years old and have struggled to lose weight since having children, and having a desk job doesn’t help! I had my first child at age 31 in 2003 and my second age 35 in 2007. My weight today is 160 lbs, my weight before children was 120 lbs.

After my second child I was jogging 3 times a week and managed to get to 136 lbs. I even jogged my way round a couple of 10k’s and did a half marathon in autumn of 2011 in my quest to get back to a size 10, but I seemed to be stuck at 144 lbs at age 40 even with the exercise!  Exercise was easier as I was self employed and was motivated by other mums training with me in the morning after the school run.  In 2013 I went back to full time work in a desk job and have found it hard to fit in exercise and the weight has piled on and has got me to where I am today 160 lbs!!

I have gone from a size 8 to a size 14, and have decided that now is time to take action. This is the beginning of my journey.

At the moment I do not have the confidence to put my name in this blog so will remain anonymous and will expose all at the end of my journey. There is a long winding road ahead, as I love hiking I am going to use beautiful an inspirational photo’s that I have taken on this blog, along with some progress and meal images.

I am not a nutritionist or fitness trainer, so this blog is from my own experiences and research of how I can be healthy to suit my lifestyle.
